  How many of those do we all think he sells every month, half a dozen if that?

  The t-shirt sales are yet another attempt to wring as much as he can out of people already supporting him.
  

  A healthy and growing channel would not need to branch out laterally like this and should rely on an ever-increasing base of support. As he now finds himself in neutral, it’s clear he’s reduced to pet monkey tricks to fill the tip jar.

  As those lyrics that guy wrote for “Lloyd Evans in Thailand” go:

  Get on your knees

  Enjoy the stench

  Taste the cheese

  Imagine thinking you can retire on this.

  Why would a real departed ex-Dub or anyone else for that matter want to wear one?

  He’s like one of those inner-city politicians who preys on the poor and claims he’s their advocate, whilst making his entire fortune off of it.

  These unscrupulous politicians need to remind the people they are in poverty and that they are their champion so as to keep themselves relevant and employed.

  Likewise Lloyd needs to keep exJWs in a constant state of reminder of a traumatic period in their lives so they can keep going to him for “treatment”. ExJWs moving on is not in his financial interest and never was.

  It’s a sick and disgusting cycle for an equally disgusting man. Imagine a substance abuse counsellor selling t-shirts poking fun at the circumstances behind drug/alcohol abuse.

  A t-shirt with a Jack Daniel’s logo with a red X through it. Another with the visuals of a needle and a bottle of pills.

  Now he’s extolling the euphoria behind drug use to already vulnerable people who are conditioned to believe anything they hear.

  All while collecting their donations. Sick, isn’t it?

  Those t-shirt designs have about as much taste as his penis.

  They’re puerile and dull. I’d be embarrassed to wear one of those in public.

  I feel pity upon his girls. Some people should never be parents, especially pompous imbeciles like him. His girls have to grow up in the shadow of a religion their parents abandoned before they were even born. I have children. If you brought up “Jehovah’s Witnesses” to them, they’d be hitting up their phones to look it up. They don’t need to know who Stephen Lett is or the changed beard policy.

  Them potentially inheriting some of his looks, body type, and personality is enough of a curse.

  He can gripe about the lack of justice and how the courts let him down

  Without fail, he’ll start blaming the other parties for behaviour he’s already committed - specifically I can see him whine about the M7 retaining a Croatian lawyer and calling it legal harassment. You’ll hear some pathetic self-serving drivel about how the money spent on the lawyer could have been better spent on “fighting WT” while completely ignoring the fact that he spent donations earmarked for that on his own frivolous litigation.

  This is how he plays his low information patrons who don’t know any better. They’re meant to come out of this thinking he’s the one who’s been sued by exJWs who were vindictive. His unwavering belief that he can control the narrative is why he pulls shit like this that has no chance of success. He thinks he can charm and talk his way out of anything.

  He’s not intelligent in any sense. Knowledge is not wisdom. And his knowledge base (Jehovah’s Witnesses) is largely useless in the modern world. Yet there he is, making his comedy routine mostly about JWs. He’s pathetic. He purposely imploded a marriage to a woman who genuinely cared about him and was willing to put up with a lot of shit, and now he’s complaining about women who cut him off after the first date.

  Notice a pattern? HE PROBABLY TALKS ALL ABOUT HIMSELF AND JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES DURING THE DATE!

  His comedy routine has devolved into this:

  Introduces himself and where he is from.

  Does a few lame “fish out of water” jokes as an Englishman trying to accustom himself to Croatian culture and ways of thinking.

  Says a line or two in Croatian for some easy applause.

  Tells everyone he was raised a JW.

  Relates these four rules:

  1. You are not allowed to wank.
  2. You are not allowed sex outside of marriage.
  3. You are not allowed to be gay.
  4. You must marry someone who is a JW.

  Repeats an anecdote about how his dad tried to school him on sexual behaviour during field service.

  “Lloyd, at school in the toilet boys will touch themselves and will make it grow huge. You should not do this”

  Lloyd then relates how he misinterpreted it and thought his penis would explode to an abnormal size, complete with gestures and making a “whoosh” sound.

  When talking about sex for more than half the routine, it’s best to not be an overweight ogre of a person like Lloyd is.

  He also once made a joke about how women tell him they are not interested, which made sense to everyone in the room except for him.

  I don’t think it’s the “finding him” problem as much as the “him hiding” reality. He seems to have developed a “glacially slow” attitude towards the court.

  I interpret this to mean that the court has either instructed or “invited” him to update his address as Dijana has returned the court’s mail to him as undeliverable. If she had accepted his mail and forwarded it to him, there wouldn’t be all this trouble about undeliverable post.

  This he has refused to do as it is in his interest to string this process out for as long as he can because it is doomed to failure. After such bold statements he had publicly made regarding his inevitable success and threats to the M7, he doesn’t want to lose face with his patrons with whom he has maintained his innocence as well as the guilt of his accusers.

  So Lloyd is doing what he has always done and act the coward - continually using his now ex-wife and by extension - his children - as human shields by not updating his address and intentionally leaving their residence in Sisak as the only means of reaching him. For all his talk about shielding his daughters against these “attacks” upon his character, instead he’s leaving them on the front line.

  These are not the actions of a “good man” nor are they indicative of a “good father”. If I were her I’d withhold his visitation until he clears this with the court. It’s a simple change of address filing or could be as simple as a phone call to the court.

  Oh wait - he can’t speak Croatian.

  Jabba the Hutt has always had an inflated view of himself and his capabilities. He’d often get into arguments on this forum and wield his supposed “media contacts” as a weapon against anyone who thought they could do the same. “Media contacts” all under the pseudonym of “John Cedars”! He had and still has little clue about what the integrity and vetting process of sources journalism entails.

  This is also the guy who threatened the elders in his last JC with organising Croatian protests, newspaper exposés, complete with pickets signs, flyers and Croatian language websites.

  All this from a man who could hardly string two sentences of Croatian together - and he felt he should be the one to take the lead!

  It appears that Lloyd's viewers aren't interested in his attempt at comedy.

  This is another example of his inflated view of himself. He’s just not an interesting person at all. He lives a relatively isolated lifestyle in a city where he stands out as a foreigner, and he thinks that this along with his JW upbringing is ample content for a stand-up routine. Even his fans aren’t too interested in this and there’s no shortage of cringe on that matter even for them.

  He strongly felt that his “celebrity” status would carry him to the next step - that is out of JW content and into the mainstream. Unfortunately for him he would fail any standard vetting process due to not only his activities in Thailand, but his clumsy and spiteful campaign afterwards against the ones who exposed it.

  He’s stuck with his YT platform repeating doctrinal rebuttals against a religion he’s tired of talking about. I’ve seen it time and time again in the industry I work in - people who have already checked out and are there to earn a cheque. They never last long and are the first out the door - often involuntarily. So it is for Lloyd. The community has by and large dismissed him and he’s playing the oldies on the rural casino circuit in order to pay the bills.

  Prediction: no more changes for a long while

  i’ve noticed a pattern where things don’t go the way i expect them to go and/or whenever i realise there is a trend and, i mentally adjust for the idea that the trend will continue, the trend stops in its tracks.

  so on that basis, and given many people, including myself, and active jws, have been asking ‘what changes will the governing body make next?’ perhaps the (disappointing) answer is: ‘nothing much for a while to come’.

  maybe they’ve made the changes they want for now, and will wait a while and see how it’s received.

  There has been a huge cultural shift within the organisation. The smart thing to do would be to sit on it and monitor how it is affecting morale and zeal. It makes more sense to keep gradually phasing 1914 and other obviously failed prophecies by not mentioning them anymore. The loosening of the grooming standards is just a relatively minor thing when you compare it to the stringent belief patterns of JWs. I too believe they will sit on this and closely monitor the results as they become a slightly more modern religion. It's much easier to drop these minor points. No one got DFed for growing a beard, nor would there be anything more than a mild reprimand for greeting a DFed person at the KH.
